Liberty IMS is pleased to announce the release of LibertyNET v. 8.0
Among its many new features, LibertyNET v. 8 has improved compliance, user interface and integration capabilities. LibertyNET v. 8 continues its tradition of flexible and robust electronic document management, records management, process automation, workflow, document imaging, digital asset management, COLD/ERM, e-forms, email management, and collaboration.

Web Link for Secure External Access
Our Web Link Object is now supported by the XML/XSL Web Server. This feature allows administrators to create rules that describe how data may be shared with users outside the system. Users may send an e-mail that contains a link to its content.

Protect Web Content with SSL
The Security Certificate object has been enhanced in the Application Builder. Digital certificates obtained from Verisign ™ and Thawte ™ may be integrated into LibertyNET to allow for secure web sessions and electronic commerce using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

Friendly User Interface
Many GUI features have been added. All new toolbars have a friendly look and feel. The external forms interface offers a new way to manage forms with full text query helper.

Liberty IMS understands that security of your digital assets is vitally important. Token-based security is now supported. Security can be assigned to document and stickynote levels. Many new user/group privileges have been added.

Ease-to-use Development Tools
External application linking-Message Drivers have been enhanced with new commands. The Retriever interface allows application bridging, screen scraping, ODBC linking and terminal emulator support. Enhanced ODMA has been added.

A new full text search engine is now built into LibertyNET. This engine provides search methods you might not have expected: concept searching, fuzzy search, stemming, phonic match, numeric range search and more...
